pushbutton switches, motor control – rotary phase converter

allen bradlyey 800T-B push buttons, NEMA type. bought on ebay, all eight of these are normally closed (”stop type”) push buttons; I didn’t realize that when purchased ‘em – I figured they’d all have four rear tabs, two for NO and two more screw-tabs for NC contact use. too bad I was wrong. what a DRAG!

see these switches, and all my OTHER rotary converter parts, in crystal clear photos here:
http://machines.netai.net/rotary_converter_parts/

I had to open up one switch (used a dremel, etc) and repositioned the 2 tiny contacts, then used a blowtorch and #11 Xacto knife to “melt in” two new tiny rectangular holes for the side studs, then reassembled the switch.

so now I have 7 switches of the normally closed/momentary open “off” type, and ONE that’s the normally open/momentary closed “off” type…hardest part was relocating the tiny rectangular holes in the clear plastic…

remember: I’m always willing to *SWAP* tools, hardware, and shop stuff for stuff on my wants list…including, of course, swapping -your- spare rotary converter parts for MY spare rotary converter parts, or your stuff for some of my (eighteen tons) of other hardware and tools, all of which you can see here
http://machines.50webs.com/alpha/

and you can see my “wants list” right at the bottom of the page link above, or here (if the page is too long and has too dang many items to scoll down through)

thanks for stopping in today :-)
