ACLights.com – Vlog 4 Light O Rama Trigger Button System Overview
we finally finished putting together our trigger system, all of the parts have been done for some time now, but I haven’t spent the time to test it all out.
I know this video is jerky and blurry, if requested, I will eventually make a new more in depth video.
Warning : Geeky content, if your not into Light o Rama, or don’t even know what it is, this video will probably bore you to death.

Xbox 360 and PS3 dual console wireless PCB joystick / LED button press light up mod
My custom dual PCB solution for 360 + PS3 use (with button press light up). I am using one joystick to play on both consoles simultaneously. Normally I have a switch to change between them, but for demonstrative purposes i have bypassed it.

Using the parallel port (and a little circuit) to control my light switch !

Today I made something very cool.
I made a circuit wich uses the Parallel port (aka printer port) to control a relais.
Nothing very special here, but with the relais I can power a motor, wich pulls a string, WICH is connected to the light switch. Result ?
Clicking a button on my (old) PC triggers the relais so the motor pulls the string SO my lights go on

Tired of that ordinary power switch on your computer? So was I so I decided to make a light trip sensor to turn on my computer. Just trip the sensor and PC turns on. No physical contact needed. This was just a test for a future mod.

I’ve set up a servo to press the light-switch in my room in halls at the University of Manchester. It’s connected to a number of switches and also the internet (so I can control them from my phone!).

my homemade electric ignitor/detonator
its pretty awesome as you can see. i got the project box aswell as the switches at the shack. inside are 5 9v batteries all hooked up to the toggle switch. this arms it. the momentary push button sends 36v to the steel wool which then burns. neat stuff. but its broken now so im pretty upset. it cost me about $20 to make and took me 4hr 37min of my saturday. it was so worth it though.
