My computer does not turn on, when I push the power button nothing happens.?

The power supply is good, I have taken it out and plugged it into another computer and it powers it just fine. When I turn the power supply switch on a little LED on the motherboard lights up but when you push the power button nothing happens. The power button is good I’ve tested it too. I’m afraid the mother board is bad.

The Mother Board is bad, or the power switch is not plugged into the proper headers on the motherboard.

A bad motherboard can sometimes result from a failing power supply also. Which is not easily detected because when you plug the power supply into another motherboard it seems to work for a while till the second mother board goes bad.

probably did you check the PRAM battery, could be a loose solder.

Pram? haha goofy mac users :)
You don’t need a BIOS battery to boot. On the surface it sounds like your motherboard. Unplug EVERYTHING (including RAM) but leave the CPU and CPU fan installed and try to turn it on. If that fails, get a new mobo.

Could be a simple HD failure. Test that before you go big $ for what amounts to a new PC.
