What is the name for this piece of hardware on push button crutches?
I have been searching for crutch repair accessories and I cannot find any information on this specific part of the crutch, its also on a number of other things besides crutches.
on a push button crutch there is an aluminum "push button" that allows you to adjust the height of the crutch.
I am looking to know the specific name of the "push button" hardware so I can use this push button release system on a project im working on.

In the trades we use something similar to what you described on scaffolds, it’s called a spring rivet.
